Awake adds Blood Moon, Storm and Lagoon to Sơn Mài Frosted Leaf collection

• Each dial uses traditional Vietnamese Sơn Mài lacquer, natural pigments and silver leaf, taking 15 hours to complete by hand.
• Blood Moon combines red pigment with black; Storm draws on lightning at night, while Lagoon uses blue hues inspired by its namesake.
• The stainless steel case measures 38mm across and 11.5mm thick, with sapphire crystals front and back and water resistance to 100 metres. Steel-capped hands and indices use BGW9 Super-LumiNova.
• The La Joux-Perret G101 has a custom tungsten rotor, operates at 28,800 bph and provides a 68-hour power reserve. Each watch comes on a colour-matched 20mm Nubuck calfskin strap.
• The core-collection models are limited to 100 pieces per year and available through the Time+Tide shop and Discovery Studios in New York, London and Melbourne. Price: €2,820 including taxes.
