Grand Seiko releases the GS9 Club-exclusive SBGY045

At a glance

• The Elegance Collection watch pairs a 38.5mm case with the manual-winding Spring Drive caliber 9R31, also used in the SBGY007 Omiwatari.
• Its minatonezu, or harbor-gray, dial has a blue-green-gray tone, with a gold-tone applied “9” numeral and dot. The case combines Zaratsu polishing and brushed finishes.
• The 9R31 provides a 72-hour power reserve and rated accuracy of ±15 seconds a month. The movement is visible through the exhibition case back. Price: €9,500.
• Limited to 600 pieces, the watch is available to GS9 Club members through a purchase-application lottery. Delivery is expected in February 2027.
