Glashütte Original × Meissen Senator Cherry Blossom features a hand-painted porcelain dial
Glashütte Original and Meissen pair a hand-painted cherry blossom porcelain dial with a red gold case in the Senator Cherry Blossom, part of the watchmaker’s Atelier series.

At a glance
- Meissen applies the cherry blossom colours in layers, firing the porcelain at 900°C after each application. The dial also bears its crossed-swords mark.
- The red gold case measures 40mm across, 10.2mm thick and 47.09mm lug-to-lug, with a domed sapphire crystal and 50m water resistance.
- The in-house automatic caliber 36-16 has a 100-hour power reserve, runs at 4 Hz and uses a silicon balance spring.
- Each watch is assembled by a single watchmaker. A sapphire caseback reveals a skeletonized rotor, Glashütte stripes and a hand-engraved balance cock.
- A dark blue Louisiana alligator leather strap has a red gold pin buckle. The watch retails for €35,500 / US$38,200 / £29,800.
