Maurice Lacroix has updated the Aikon Automatic Chronograph with revised case proportions, pushers, dial and movement, and is adding it to the permanent collection.

At a glance

The stainless steel case now measures 42mm by 14mm, down from 44mm by 15mm. Water resistance is 100m, versus 200m on the earlier model; the new design adds rectangular pushers and a crown guard.
The Clous de Paris dial has more depth and comes in five configurations: blue, black or green, silver with blue counters, and gold-toned with black counters.
The automatic ML112 calibre runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers more than 60 hours of power reserve, up from 42 hours. The permanent collection is priced at CHF 3,150 or EUR 3,690, including taxes.
